Experience and Education
George Pellatt was born in London, Ontario and attended the University of British Columbia where he obtained a Bachelor of Commerce degree in 1967 and his Bachelor of Laws degree in 1968. He was called to the Bar in 1969 and practiced with the firm of Connell, Lightbody in Vancouver until 1993 when he relocated to Kelowna. Mr. Pellatt currently practices general, corporate and commercial law for a broad variety of individual, corporate and institutional clients.
He has extensive experience in the areas of construction law, including drafting and interpretation of tendering documentation, invitations to tender, CCDC documentation, the awarding of contracts and subsequent assistance in resolution of disputes between bidders, contractors and owners. He also assists in the negotiation and completion of professional services contracts with architects and engineers.
