Rod Pacholzuk was raised in Penticton and played hockey for his hometown Penticton Vees. He continued his hockey career at the University of Michigan where he also obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in general studies majoring in History and Accounting. In 1978 he was selected by the Washington Capitals in the NHL Amateur Draft. Rod decided the best life path to take was academics and attended the University of Windsor School of Law from which he graduated with his Bachelor of Laws degree in 1984. Just five years later Rod became a partner at Berge & Company in Kelowna, a predecessor to FH&P Lawyers.

In 2014 the firm morphed taking the ā€œPā€ in Pacholzuk and included it into the new branding of FH&P Lawyers.

Rod, now a senior partner, practices in civil litigation, with a focus on matters involving personal injury, insurance, insolvency, wills and estate litigation, and commercial litigation. He appears in both the trial and appellate courts.
