FH&P Lawyers is pleased to announce that Gillian M. Dougans has become a Partner in the firm effective January 1, 2018.
Jill is a senior litigator with a practice focused on personal injury, commercial, estate and employment litigation. Jill is a qualified mediator and member of the civil roster with Mediate BC.
Jill is also a skills coach with the Justice Institute of BC and an Adjunct Professor with UBCO teaching POLI 432 “Contemporary Issues in Law”. Her experience as an adjudicator includes the EAAT for appeals related to income assistance and in 2016 she was appointed to the Law Society’s disciplinary panel.

Dylan succeeds Doug Flannigan as managing partner after 20 successful years in the role. During his tenure Doug has tirelessly advocated for not only his clients but the firm as a whole building a strong foundation for FH&P’s future. Doug will remain an integral member of the partnership and will continue to serve his clients with the same dedication he has always demonstrated.
Dylan has been with FH&P since 2008 and looks forward to continuing FH&P’s longstanding tradition of quality client service. Being part of a firm with a century's worth of knowledge and experience gives Dylan high hopes for both his and his clients futures. He is proud to work for one of the Okanagan's leading law firms, and aspires to instill the same sense of pride in his clients.
In addition to his new role as managing partner, Dylan will continue to be a trusted advisor to his clients.
