FH&P Lawyers in conjunction with the Kelowna Art Gallery are pleased to announce Gillian Dougans has joined their Board of Directors.
Gillian arrived at FH&P Lawyers in 2013 and has been a wonderful addition to the firm, becoming a partner in 2018.
“I am excited to join the Art Gallery Board of Directors. After being forced to close when the pandemic started the Art Gallery reopened on June 2nd with free admission for the month of June to welcome everyone back. There are new exhibitions to check out and don’t forget the remote installation at the Kelowna Airport!”
She joins a Board of Directors with 13 members from various fields throughout Kelowna. With the current COVID-19 restrictions she is meeting with the other Board members via Zoom calls.
Just recently the Kelowna Art Gallery installed their latest exhibition; Melany Nugent-Noble’s Nothing To Be Done which takes reference from the stage set of Samuel Beckett’s play, Waiting for Godot that was first performed in Paris in 1953. There are five installation also on display at the Art Gallery; From Geisha to Diva: The Kimono of Ichimaru, I Must Be Streaming: Jorden Doody, Nothing to be done: Melany Nugent-Noble, Art in Action 2020: COLOUR and puti kwala – we are still here Sheldon Pierre Louis.
