Immigration Express Entry Stream

September 22, 2020 by Carly Perryman

On September 16, 2020, the Government of Canada invited 4,200 to apply to become permanent residents in Canada. The lowest required Comprehensive Ranking Score

(CRS) was 472, three points less than the previous draw.

Express Entry is an online system through which Immigration, Refugee & Citizenship Canada (IRCC) manages candidates for Canada’s three economic classes of immigration:

  • Federal Skilled Worker Program
  • Federal Skilled Trades Program
  • Canadian Experience Class
  • Candidates are given a score out of 1,200. The score is based on various criteria such as age, occupation, family status, job offer in Canada, work experience and education, to name a few.

There are draws from the pool through the year, which we monitor closely and provide ongoing evaluation and advice regarding your submission to increase your chances of selection. Once you are invited to apply, we will complete your Express Entry application and communicate with you and IRCC throughout the process.

If you would like to know if you qualify for immigration to Canada through the Express Entry program or any other Canadian immigration program, please take our free assessment here.
