Jens Deppe Joins FH&P

FH&P Lawyers LLP is growing again and are pleased to announce the addition of family lawyer Jens Deppe effective immediately.

Jens (pronounced “Yenz”) was born and raised in Germany. After living for two years in Greece and Cyprus, he moved to Canada in 2010 and completed both his Bachelor of

Commerce and Juris Doctor degrees in Edmonton. During law school, he worked in two small law firms and assisted with business, estate and immigration matters. Prior to joining FH&P, Jens worked as an associate in a family law firm in Edmonton. He enjoys working in family law because of the immediate impact his work has on the lives of his clients.

“Our family law practice continues to grow and our partnership is delighted to have Jens join our team,” says Managing Partner Dylan Switzer. “He is a passionate and energic lawyer that will fit well with our team and be a valuable member of our community overall. He fits perfectly with our philosophy of ‘people first’ as we continue to expand our services throughout the Okanagan.”

As a member in good standing of the Law Society of British Columbia, Jens can speak two different languages: English and German.

“My family and I are excited about this opportunity to move to Kelowna,” says Jens. “I am looking forward to helping people navigate through any family matters that arise and making an impact for the better as quickly as possible.”

Jens has three small boys who keep him busy when he is not working. He loves spending time with his family and enjoys travelling to and exploring new places. He has also amassed a collection of tools and likes to repair cars and do woodworking projects. He dreams of obtaining his private pilot license one day.
