The FH&P Family Grows

FH&P Lawyers is delighted to expand our Family Law practice by adding two extremely experienced lawyers. Audra Bayer and Karsten Erzinger have joined the Firm effective immediately after building an incredible practice and reputation in West Kelowna.

“Our team is thrilled to be adding two very talented lawyers,” says Dylan Switzer, Managing Partner. “Audra has grown a successful practice in West Kelowna and is a well-respected family lawyer in the Okanagan. Karsten has also built a very good practice helping families in our region and is a young and creative lawyer.”

Audra is a senior family lawyer who has been practicing law since 2000, first getting called to the Bar in Manitoba. She moved to West Kelowna in 2012 and has been practicing from there ever since building a strong practice with a focus on the use of education and mediation in highly volatile cases where family violence, mental health and addiction are factors. She is also bilingual and a certified mediator and arbitrator who has real life experience going through a separation and divorce and understands the complexities and emotions in these matters

"Life is not about looking back and wishing that today is the same with the past," says Bayer. "Life is about moving on, accepting changes and looking forward to what makes you stronger and more complete. Because it’s never been too late to have a life and never too late to change one."

Karsten grew up in the Okanagan and has built an excellent practice in West Kelowna working alongside Bayer. He was called to the BC Bar in 2018 and has shown the ability to find creative and pragmatic answers and solve issues helping his clients in both the Central and South Okanagan.

“I am excited to be joining the team, and feel privileged to begin working alongside the well respected and exemplary professionals at the Firm,” says Erzinger.

With the addition of Bayer and Erzinger the FH&P Family Law team grows to include 10 lawyers who can help families in Kelowna, West Kelowna, Penticton and throughout the South Okanagan.
