Donald Lewthwaite

Don Lewthwaite was raised in Kelowna and then attended the University of British Columbia where he obtained his Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Laws degrees, graduating in 1978. He was called to the British Columbia Bar in 1979 and the Alberta Bar in 1980 where he practiced for seven years before returning to Kelowna.

Don was the senior litigation partner at FH&P Lawyers with a practice focused on insurance law and an emphasis on personal injury and construction litigation/disputes.

On July 1, 2001, Don officially became a partner as a major legal transition was happening in Kelowna. That month, the old Berge Horn law firm rebranded to FH&P Lawyers.

When not in the office, Don is active in the Okanagan, enjoying golf, boating and hosting dinner parties during the summer months while skiing in the winter.
