SENIOR CITIZENS COUNSELLING PROGRAM – KELOWNA
This organization is run by volunteer counsellors appointed by the Minister Responsible for Seniors to assist seniors with problems and concerns. Counsellors are seniors themselves and are concerned, caring and interested in their fellow seniors. They are knowledgeable about services and resources and are able to put people in touch with other agencies that offer services that offer and support.

Emergency Response Program designed to assist chronically ill or elderly individuals to continue living safely and independently in their own homes. Subscribers to Lifeline wear a small, waterproof pendant, which, when pressed, sends an alarm to our 24 hour emergency response centre. Help is then sent for, whether it be a family member, friend of neighbor or, if necessary, an ambulance. A not-for-profit, volunteer supported program.
