The Good Morning Program is a phone-out service to individuals who are isolated and/or have high risk health concerns. This program offers peace of mind; some social interaction for Good Morning clients and enables people to live independently, longer.

INTERIOR HEALTH AUTHORITY LIFELINE PROGRAM
Emergency Response Program designed to assist chronically ill or elderly individuals to continue living safely and independently in their own homes. Subscribers to Lifeline wear a small, waterproof pendant, which, when pressed, sends an alarm to our 24 hour emergency response centre. Help is then sent for, whether it be a family member, friend of neighbor or, if necessary, an ambulance. A not-for-profit, volunteer supported program.

Home and community care services provide a range of health care and support services for eligible residents who have acute, chronic, palliative or rehabilitative health care needs. These services are designed to complement and supplement, but not replace, the efforts of individuals to care for themselves with the assistance of family, friends and community.

OLD AGE PENSIONERS ORGANIZATION (OAPO)
The function of the branch is primarily for social activities. Most branches have a monthly general meeting where membership can become involved in the business aspect, which can lead to resolutions being presented at annual convention. MEALS ON WHEELS
Meals on Wheels service offered in Vernon (Monday through Friday), Armstrong and Enderby (Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays only). A noon meal is delivered to your door for a cost of $5.00.
