The Canadian Point System

In 1967, Canada became the first country in the world to introduce a points system for economic class immigrants. Canada introduced the points system to help it assess immigration candidates objectively based on human capital characteristics such as their age, education, language skills, occupations, and work experience.

New English Language Test Approved by IRCC
