Alexis Mawko

Alexis attended Carleton University in Ottawa, where she earned her bachelor's degree in 2018. She remained in the nation's capital and attended the University of Ottawa for law school.

Always seeking out hands-on experiences throughout law school, Alexis was a family law caseworker for the University of Ottawa Community Legal Clinic, offering pro-bono legal services to the public, and she placed first in the provincial Arnup Cup Trial Advocacy Moot.

She obtained her Juris Doctor degree in 2021 and completed her articles in Ottawa. She was called to the Ontario bar in June 2022 and later to the British Columbia bar in July 2022.

Alexis joined FH&P Lawyers as an Associate and is currently building a practice in family law.

When not in the office, you can find Alexis hiking or biking on one of the many trails in the area, enjoying a tasting at one of the many local wineries, or undertaking a new art project.
