Heidi Taylor obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in Psychology in 2000 before receiving her Bachelor of Law degree in 2003 from UBC.
Heidi was called to the British Columbia Bar and became an FH&P Associate in 2004; she joined the Partnership in 2011. She manages the lawyers in FH&P’s Family Law Practice Group.
Heidi assists her clients in resolving family law matters including parenting issues (custody), child support, spousal support, and property division. She has a corporate and civil litigation background which provides her with a unique skill set to address complex support and property division matters.
Heidi is an active member of the Okanagan Collaborative Family Group with an emphasis on dispute resolution through mediation and negotiation; she became a qualified family law mediator in 2019. Where matters cannot be resolved outside of court, Heidi appears in complex chambers matters and trials in the BC Supreme Court, and additionally at the Court of Appeal.
