Originally from Nigeria, Pius was called to the Nigerian bar in 2011 and practiced extensively in Nigeria before his relocation to Alberta in late 2017. He obtained a Qualifying Certificate issued by the National Committee on Accreditation after passing all required exams and proceeded to complete a term of composite articles as well as the CPLED course. After fulfilling all the requirements for admission, he was called to the Alberta bar in 2020. After his call he practiced privately in the Calgary area until he joined FH&P Lawyers LLP in 2023.

Pius is a certified trust and estate practitioner (TEP) which is internationally recognized with the "TEP" designation demonstrating expertise in the field of trusts and estates. He also holds the Certified Executor Advisor and MFA-P™ designations which indicate specialized training that enables him to deliver superior advice with respect to the probate/estate administration process and planned giving.

Pius is building a practice with a focus on wills, trusts, estate and incapacity planning, estate administration, residential and commercial real estate, corporate transactions, and business law.

Outside of the office, Pius enjoys exploring the Okanagan, whether that means visiting wineries, spending time on the lakes or snowboarding in the winters.
